Metal stamping is a process utilized in industries such as aerospace, agriculture, ammunitions, appliances, automotive, commercial, construction, and electronics. The process is to be activated to a variety of components based on their unique metalworking essence for a certain range of applications across a wide range of industries.
It may also require the forming processes as well as part of the base common metals to rare alloys for advantages. Some industries require conductivity from beryllium copper in order to produce electrical or thermal conductivity. There also needs to be a high strength application of steel for the automotive industry itself. The process of stamping began in the 1980s and has evolved over time.
The purpose of metal stamping is to cut and shape alloys into certain forms especially when being used as components and for large machinery and/or structures. The metal sheets are to be molded into different varieties of pre-determined shapes for use as regular products like pans and cans. The main alloys which are utilized during this process are but not limited to steel, zinc, nickel, aluminum and titanium.
